BEFORE ANY EYE LASH APPOINTMENT
Please remove all your eye make-up and to wash your eyelashes. It’s important that your lashes are thoroughly cleaned to ensure the extensions fully bond to your natural lashes.
HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY LASH EXTENSIONS?
For the first 48 hours, avoid using water, creams and oils around the eye area, as well as swimming, sauna, or spa treatments. Never pull or rub your lashes. Use a non-oily, water-based eye makeup remover. Ask about aftercare kits
MAKE-UP TO AVOID
Not all makeup products out there are compatible with lash extension. Some products will loosen the bond causing lashes to drop prematurely. Some products may be difficult to remove and may leave residue on lashes. This residue buildup may leave lashes feeling gritty or looking clumpy.
It is recommended to avoid using the following makeup products:
Oil-based eye makeup
Oil-based makeup remover
AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT It takes 48 hours for the adhesive to dry thoroughly and yield a strong, durable bond you should:
Avoid swimming, saunas or steam rooms.
If you experience any signs of irritation, please contact us as soon as possible. You may be allergic to the extensions and they may need to be removed.
Do not pick, pull or rub your eyelashes.
Do not use cotton balls, cotton rounds or swabs directly on the eyelashes as the fibers may get lodges in the bond areas lash extensions.
Do not use eyelash curlers, perm or tint.
ALL GLAM'D UP provides aftercare kits that will help to prolong the life of your eyelash extensions. Lash tech will go over steps to help you maintain your lashes.
EYELASH GROWTH CYCLES
Eyelashes are constantly growing at different rates. In general, people lose 1 to 4 eyelashes per day but as you shed lashes the new ones are growing in. This is a normal process and eyelashes are constantly growing at different rates. That's it is recommended should be every 2-3 weeks.
